The hotel was conveniently located approximately 15 minutes away from Cannon Beach. We chose this hotel because there was a large parking area that was free. The lobby looks newly renovated. There was a pool on the left which we never had the time to use. Our room had a serene view of the river. The breakfast was very basic and not much to offer. There were bread, waffle, cold egg and some cereals. The atmosphere was nice though.
So many special details at this hotel! It's a very sweet place. Everything in Seaside is walkable, and they've got nice bikes too. We took advantage of the hot tub and fire pits, it's not fancy but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was fairly generous and the service is warm and attentive, more I can say than most places in Oregon. I loved the free DVD library, really cute.
A pleasant 1-night stay. No complaints - room was clean (thanks housekeeping :)), bed was comfy. The included breakfast was what you'd typically expect with a reasonable variety of breaky options. Front desk staff were professional and friendly. Property is close to beach and Seaside's main street amenities/restaurants.
We'll definitely stay again on our next Oregon Coast road trip!
I've stayed at some nice hotels, a few in Seaside! But the rooms we stayed in were by far the cleanest rooms I've been in in a very long time! The staff was very friendly and helpful! We went to Seaside thinking it wouldn't be too crowded since school started, so we didn't make any reservations! What a mistake! It happened to be the last of the summer big weekend, with a car show, and sandcastle competition so rooms were very few and far between! But we ended up getting rooms for Fri and Sat nights! Great job on the hotels part finding us a awesome place to stay! Would definitely go back, and recommend to others!
Located perfectly right off the river. What a little treat it was to stay here. I had the best sleep I've had in a long time. Noise control is great- cannot hear conversations in the next room over. Complimentary bicycles, on-site parking, breakfast, DVD rentals, and truly awesome staff. This is a great spot for a family or a special getaway.
Booked this hotel for a family getaway with adults and children, this hotel caters to both and has a lot of amenities that benefit families. Location is amazing, walking distance to shops and the beach. Checking in was easy and the luggage carts were super helpful when lugging a groups worth of luggage. The cleaning crew was also super friendly!
Everything with our stay was going great until we took off our shoes in the the room, there was water puddle right by the dishwasher. I sent a text message (the hotel sends out a welcome text that asks you to reach out if there's any issues) and no one ever replied. We just stayed in the room with a wet carpet all weekend.
We also booked this stay because of the free bike rentals, we were excited to try the bikes out and when we saw the bikes we were disappointed. The bikes are not well taken care of, the seats are morphed and bent in weird ways, rust is visible all over the joints (possibly due to the salty air) and the bike handles has a weird green sludge on them that transferred onto your hands. We rode off on them and quickly realized we wouldn't get to far and returned them.
On our last night there we also made multiple noise complaints due to the room above us having multiple children (and a dog?) screaming, running back and forth and stomping on the floor for hours. We didn't hear anyone knock on their door or even call them to ask them to stop. After staying up past 2AM we knew we wouldn't get any sleep. The whole incident wasn't even acknowledged when we checked out.
If you need a quiet place look elsewhere but if you plan on traveling with kids this is a nice location.
We were in room 216. It was a really nice room with great views! The downfall was that it was above the pool. We could hear all of the people in the pool till 10 pm. The road noise was also really bad. The front desk service was really nice! We left before the breakfast was served, but it looked like a nice variety of food!
The Halloween decorations were fantastic. So many special touches. Staff that checked us in were great. They even got us some cream cheese from the kitchen upon our request after finding out we forgot our condiments. :-)
